Housekeeping service is available on a regular basis or as needed to keep your home clean, safe and comfortable. Each staff member is licensed and bonded. General housekeeping services include everything from vacuuming, mopping and cleaning bathrooms to laundry and ironing. Extra tasks may be scheduled separately, such as shampooing carpets, washing windows or packing for a move. Fees are $5 per 15 minutes or $19 per hour for residents on campus. Each member at ACV has a dedicated Service Coordinator who provides support services at no additional cost. Our team of professionals answer questions, link members to appropriate senior care services, assist with transfers and offer a listening ear. Family members can also contact service coordinators on your behalf. Call (386) 658-5400 to reach your service coordinator with any questions. 

We have many opportunities to stay active and give back at ACV through our volunteer activities. You can work at our shops, assist with events, make products to sell in our shops, stuffing envelopes, decorating the community...and so much more. An emergency call system is a standard support service in each residence at Advent Christian Village. Members rest easy knowing that emergency services are available around the clock. A county fire and EMS station is located right on campus, and on-staff first responders answer emergency calls when they occur after hours. At Advent Christian Village, resident safety is our top priority. Call (386) 658-3333 anytime day or night for assistance. 

The Village Church has many programs happening on a regular basis, in addition to services every Sunday at 9:40 am. Click here to visit the church's website to learn more. 

Environmental Services now oversees all areas that were formerly property management, such as landscaping, grounds, water/wastewater, building  maintenance and repairs, and housekeeping. If you have an issue regarding these areas, please call (386) 658-5155.

This daycare is open to children of ACV staff and neighboring communities. Our members often get involved in helping make holidays special for the kids, such as an Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween Trick or Treat and Christmas celebrations. The children regularly visit residents at Good Samaritan for activities and celebrations. 

A team of volunteers, led by Millie Griswold, maintain a comprehensive collection of photographs, documents, books and artifacts recording Advent Christian Village's 100+ year history as well as artifacts and books from early Dowling Park and Advent Christian Church history. The archives are located in the Shirley J. Brooks Archive Wing of the Jo Kennon Public Library. A rotating, five-minute pictorial exhibit with accompanying artifacts is located near the Village Grocer in Village Square.  Call (386) 658-5961 or email archives@acvillage.net.
