Clean-Up Day!
Our mission is to tame the wild weeds, wrangle the runaway flowers, and shape up the scruffy overgrown shrubs in front of Dowling House and Carter House (from the covered walkway to the entrance to Highsmith Park). Nature has taken over, and it is time we bring beauty and order back to this area of our
community.
The Magic Mirror didn't fix it, so we thought it would be fun to have residents and staff join forces and tackle this problem head on. The workday is scheduled
for Friday, Oct. 10. We will provide snacks, drinks, and the tools necessary for the jobs. You can also bring your own tools and equipment if you have them.
Let's meet in the church golf cart parking lot at 9:00 a.m. No special skills or talents are needed. Just come with your can-do attitude, and be ready to whistle
while you work.
