It's a celebration of everything Autumn! Come out and see the vendors and join in the fun. Vendors will be open beginning at 8 am, and at 9 am the ROTC join us for a flag ceremony and the singing of the national anthem by Candy Hall.
Our "Pumpkin Yummy" baked goods contest is a battle of all pumpkin-themed foods. Do you make the best pumpkin pie, bread or scones? Let our judges prove you right. There is no entry fee, just bring your baked goods to the Village Lodge office, as early as Friday morning, October 24 up until 9:30 am on Saturday, October 25. Judging takes place at 10 am and winners will be announced at 11 am. Even better, the baked goods will then be sold to benefit ACV's Benevolence Fund!
Our Pumpkin Decorating contest encourages everyone to get creative and have fun decorating a pumpkin of any size. Bring your entry to the Village Lodge office as early as Friday morning, October 24 through 9:30 am on Saturday. Judging will take place at 10 am and winners announced at 11 am.
New this year, our Silent Auction gives you a chance to get an early start on holiday shopping. We hope to have a variety of fun, unique and beautiful items up for bid. You'll have until noon on Saturday to bid and then winners will be announced at 12:30 pm. If you have an item you'd like to donate to the Auction, call Member Services at 386-658-5400 and drop it off at the Phillips Center.
We'll have Live Entertainment going on in the Square throughout the day, and the American Legion Poker Run motorcyclists will make a stop in Dowling Park at noon. Riders will be at the Square for about 30 minutes in costume, then will go to the nursing home for a short visit before moving to another town.
If you're a vendor, you can sign up online! Booths are $25 for the public, $15 for ACV members and staff, and free for nonprofits. Click the link to register.
