Novice to experienced star gazers welcome. ACV membership is not required. Adults and mature interested youth are welcome. Bring your own binoculars or telescope or learn what to shop for. Experienced astronomy enthusiasts are available so you can learn where to look for night sky objects. We are an informal group and those present are happy to teach and share their view through their equipment to inspire others. When we go outside, wear appropriate clothes for the weather, bring a portable lawn chair or recliner and a flashlight or headlamp with a red lens cover. The red light is critical for navigating the uneven ground and allows your eyes to adjust to the darkness so you can see more sky objects.
