Shuttle Bus Service
We are pleased to offer members shuttle bus service throughout the Village Monday-Friday, see the schedule. In addition, we have shopping trips to local stores such as Walmart, Publix, Winn-Dixie and Save A Lot every Wednesday. We have longer shopping trips to Lake City, Perry, Valdosta and Gainesville where you can make a day of shopping and lunch. We also have buses that take members to dinner, selected entertainment and events, such as Suwannee Lights, plays and concerts in other cities, and more. For all bus trips, please make reservations at the Information Center. Information on all of these trips is included in the calendar.
Medical Transportation
Advent Christian Village also has medical transportation available to drive members to and from off-campus medical appointments. Our wheelchair-accessible van ensures that we can transport virtually any member to non-emergency medical care. Call the Information Center at (386) 658-3333 to schedule.
Suwannee Valley Transit Authority
​Paratransit is a specialized door-to-door service provided to residents in Suwannee County. They can take you to doctor's appointments, the local grocery store, or wherever you need to go. Services are available Monday-Friday at a modest fee.
Call (386) 362-5332 or (386) 362-7433 to schedule transportation at least three business days in advance (excluding weekends and holidays). Call your HMO provider directly to schedule transportation if you are Medicaid eligible.
